Did I just read that Reagan was a Keynesian? Evenmore, it was Reagan's Keynesian economics that got us out of a recession in the 80s. Interesting article.

So this concept would be something the American people can do on their own, and help the government at the same time!

I really love your blog and your website. I appreciate the resources I have found here. Would you be able to tell me a little bit about running for Mayor in a small city in Utah, such as the how-tos and the policies within the state? That would be fantastic now that we have the Presidential Election completed. Thanks a million!

I live in Baton Rouge Louisiana, on this map it says we are in a recession. My dad own a business and it has definitely has been slower than in the past. I think every one feels the crunch of the stock market and this country's debts, I just thought it was funny I just saw a story on the news about how Baton Rouge is doing well compared to other metro cities because of the great growth of the city construction is every where, new restaurant on every street, and clean up and roofing crews still hard at work after Gustav.

stay green, peace and love from the south.

Best City for RETAIL employment, maybe. But those guys at Forbes have never tried to find an executive "career" type job here.

If we discount Russia and her former satellites from the Europe land area, the United States is about 5 times larger than Europe. I think we built out the way we did because there is so much more available land.

P.S. My wife and I have thought recently about moving closer to my work, but we realized that to get the same sized yard (.5 acre) in a less rural setting would be hugely expensive. So we're staying put and living with the cost of gas.
